Less Washing
A big part of how I got my hair so long was only washing it when I needed to. Till this day I only wash my hair about 2 or 3 times a week. But I take shower everyday, I just pull back my hair. I know some girls may think that it is ridiculous and your hair will get greasy. And yes, my hair does get greasy, but I use an awesome dry shampoo.
About 3 years ago I washed my hair everyday, and wonder why my hair kept falling out, and why it wasn't growing. Since only washing it 2 or 3 times a week, my hair has grown and I've had much less fall out!
No Heat
This is the MOST IMPORTANT! Along with no heat, it also includes no teasing, no hairspray, no blow drying, no straightening, no curling, no coloring, ect. Basically no styling for awhile, I'd say about 2 weeks. Just be natural, learn to work with your hair type. Since I never use heat on my hair I don't have nearly as much breakage or split ends as I once did when I was using heat on my hair.
Just know that getting healthy long hair takes time!
