What are my healthy snacks?

   It can be hard to reach for healthy snacks if you know that you have Double Stuffed Oreo's calling your name in the pantry! I get it. I'm not here to say I am a healthy eater everyday, but I am here to share with you some healthy snacks that I've been picking up.

  It takes time and dedication to pick up veggies over pizza. For me, it's not about losing weight, it's about making myself feel better, and feeling healthy!

   Junk foods do not make you feel good after, they make you feel worse. So this post is give you an idea of what you might want to start picking up and eating and leave you feeling great after!


   Carrots

  • Can help improve the health of your eyes, skin, hair & nails, by building new cells.
  • Contains  Vitamins A, C, E, & K (So carrots are a good way of getting them vitamins in your body!)
  • Helps prevent tooth decay, by killing harmful germs in your mouth. 
  • Raw or steamed gives a good nutrient value. 

   Greek Yogurt (Non-Fat)

  • 2x more protein than regular yogurt
  • Leaves you feeling full longer
  • Has a texture that can be used for cooking, baking, and dips.  

   Lemon Water

  • Freshens breath
  • Gives an Energy Boost
  • Addicting!
  • Feels refreshing
  There are many other great benefits to these healthy snacks, I just shared with you what have been my choices over the past couple weeks! I will be sharing more healthy snacks as well! Thanks!
