Foundation
Some call it the "miracle worker" because it can blur imperfections, and even out your complexion and with the right formula it can make your skin appear flawless and give it a healthy glow.
Foundation is the most important make-up you will ever purchase, but unfortunately can be the most difficult product to choose correctly.
Choosing a Foundation:
There are 2 things to evaluate before picking a foundation.
1. Matching your skin tone and it's depth level.
Skin Tone- describes your skin color, ranges from very dark brown to almost colorless. It is determined by the amount of depth and type of pigment melanin in the skin. (olive, yellow, pink, bronze, or ebony).
Depth level- describes the lightness or darkness of something.
2. Determine your Skin Type.
Wearing the correct formula for your skin type can help your foundation stay on longer, and look it's most best.
Dry Skin- Having dry skin myself, I look for foundations with moisturizers in it.
Oily Skin- Oils from your skin can mix with the foundation making it look blotchy and uneven. So you'll need a foundation wit oils absorbents in it.
I will have a part 2 of this so stay tuned!
Hopefully this helped for some, because I've had many bad experiences when it comes to choosing a foundation!
Thanks!
xoxo
